Sustainable Determinants Influencing Habit Formation among Mobile Short-Video Platform Users

Interest in mobile short-video platforms (MSVP) as a new social network service tool has surged recent years. However, only few studies have focused on MSVP users’ post-acceptance behavior. To clarify this issue of sustainable usage, study analyzed habit formation by incorporating perceived interactivity and enjoyment into the expectation-confirmation theory information system continuance (ECT-IS) model using structural equation modelling. We developed distributed an online questionnaire collected 219 valid responses from Chinese users. Our results show that satisfaction is foremost factor determining it completely mediates influence confirmation interactivity. also positively influences directly indirectly. Nonetheless, we note usage should form basis continuous user experience due to missing links with regard modulation habitual usage. Therefore, suggest MSVPs enhance their content recommendation algorithms technologies such deep-learning forecasting improve increasing enjoyment. effective when fully mediated satisfaction. Thus, recommend diversify interaction mechanisms, for instance, introducing mass creators promote enhancing platform.
